Tom Hiddleston is making a grand comeback, all set to unleash more chaos and mischief in Season 2 of Disney+’s original series “Loki.”
After the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” Loki teams up with the Time Variance Authority aka TVA to track down superheroes causing chaos in different timelines of the multiverse.
In the trailer, we see Hiddleston rocking his role as the god of mischief, alongside his buddy Owen Wilson, who’s back as Mobius M. Mobius. But hold on, things take a wild turn for Mobius this time since he lost some of his memory in the Season 1 finale.
Oh, there’s more! They’ve got a new addition to the team – Ke Huy Quan, the Oscar winner from “Everything Everywhere All At Once.” He’s playing a character working for the Time Variance Authority. Not just this, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, aka Ravonna, will also be getting back to her role in the new season along with female Loki. Intriguing, right?
And don’t forget about the multiverse mess after He Who Remains kicked the bucket (played by Jonathan Majors). Poor Hiddleston got stuck in a reality he didn’t recognize.
But wait, there’s even more! The series also welcomes Kate Dickie from “Game of Thrones” as a villain. We can’t wait to see what she brings to the table.
Six episodes are lined up, all penned by Eric Martin, the returning writer. Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are each directing an episode.
The wait won’t be long. The mayhem starts streaming on Disney+ from October 6. Mark your calendars and catch the trailer below for a sneak peek!
