Blue Marvel’s real name is Adam Bernard Brashear, born in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Cornell University with a PhD in Theoretical Physics and an Electrical Engineering Degree. He married Candace Brashear, a fellow scientist, and had two sons, Kevin and Max.
He joined the Marine Corps and fought in the Korean War, where he met his friend Conner Sims, who would later become his enemy Anti-Man. He became Blue Marvel after the Negative Reactor exploded, giving him and Sims incredible powers. He fought crime and injustice for years, until the government asked him to retire due to racial prejudice.
