Loki is coming to Disney+ sooner than it was originally meant to. Tom Hiddleston, the star of the show, Loki, has announced the change in release date in a teaser that the show will arrive on June 9, instead of its original release date, June 11 on Disney+.
The video starts with a Superhero Montage, released by Marvel a few days back, interrupted by Tom Hiddleston announcing the new release date of Loki, saying, “Wednesdays are the new Fridays.”Marvel released WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Solider on Fridays, however, Loki has been moved to Wednesday.
The show is based on the events after Loki escaped in the End game when Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, and Ant-Man went to the past to bring back Infinity Stones in order to undo what Thanos did to the Universe. After the events of the New York war, which was brought by Loki into the World, Loki used Tesseract to escape the timeline and from where the show will be heading forward. Although the original Loki was killed by Thanos at the start of the Avengers: Infinity War, hence this version of Loki will be a little different than what we have seen in Thor: Ragnarok.
