Captain America is the alter ego of Steve Rogers, a frail man who was rejected by the army because of his small size.
He volunteered for an experimental “super-soldier serum” that enhanced his physical abilities to the peak of human potential. He then became a symbol of American ideals and fought against the Nazi forces during World War II.
