Marvel Studios releases the first teaser trailer of the Black Widow movie. Scarlett Johansson is coming back as Natasha Romanoff. One thing that fans should know is that the movie falls in between the Civil War and Infinity War, so Black Widow [Spoiler Alert] is not coming back to life. The two-year gap between Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War is when Natasha goes back to Russia, her home country.
The highly anticipated stand-alone movie of the beloved MCU character, Black Widow will take us to the Budapest, which Clint Barton aka Hawkeye referenced in several Avengers movies. the home place of Natasha Romanoff. The trailer also gives us a glimpse at Natasha Romanoff’s sister. The teaser focuses on ‘some unfinished business’ that Natasha has been on to, which brings her to Russia.
Not only this, Red Guardian (Alexi Shostakov), played by David Harbour, the famous actor we remember from Stranger Things, is also in the movie. Red Guardian is the counterpart to Captain America and has known Natasha for a long time.
Scarlett Johansson becomes the first female to have a stand-alone Marvel movie. From the original Avengers squad, only Mark Ruffalo is left with no stand-alone movie and Universal Studios is to blame since they own the rights to Hulk and She-Hulk character.
Black Widow will be in theatres on May 1st, 2020.
